The South-East Melbourne Phoenix are ready to soar over the competition in their inaugural NBL season, tipping things off with a huge home clash here at Melbourne Arena against the Brisbane Bullets.

Traffic update: The Melbourne Marathon 2019 event is scheduled for Sunday 13 October in the Precinct. Extensive Road Closures will be in place around the Precinct from 4.00am – 1.30pm. Batman Ave will be closed between Swan St Bridge and Flinders Street. Entrance A, Entrance B and Entrance C will be unavailable for entry and exit during these times. The Northern Carpark, THQ Carpark & Entrance B Undercover Carpark will be closed during these times.

Arrival: Please arrive early at Melbourne Arena and allow plenty of travel time. Guests will be subject to bag search, security wanding and a ticket check before entering the arena. This can take time. Limiting the amount of bags and items you bring can significantly reduce entry time, so please leave unnecessary items at home. We suggest guests arrive at least an hour prior to their event's start time, as well as checking routes for any updates/changes due to The Melbourne Marathon, to avoid disappointment.

ParkingParking at Melbourne Park is limited and should be pre-booked.

Public transport: Melbourne Arena is accessible by tram, train and bus. The arena is walking distance from Richmond Station and Flinders Street Station. Please be aware of some train disruption which may affect your travel. Plan ahead with the Public Transport Victoria Journey Planner.

Child Free Entry policy:  Children aged 5 and under are entitled to enter the arena at no charge; however they must not occupy a seat.

For fans of the league's newest NBL team it will be worth keeping your weekends free over the summer, with the South-East Melbourne Phoenix featuring prominently in Saturday and Sunday time slots.

18 of the Phoenix’s matches will be held on a Saturday or Sunday, another five fixtures taking place on a Friday night, with the remaining five clashes scheduled for weeknights. The family-friendly schedule means this season’s Phoenix matches will be the perfect event for basketball fans of all ages.
