Gymnastics Australia is once again excited to host the World Cup Gymnastics Melbourne in 2020 – the second year of the event that will count towards 2020 Olympic qualification! As a part of the FIG’s new World Cup format for the 2017-2020 Olympic Cycle, Australia won the right to host a stop on the Individual Apparatus World Cup circuit, staging the first event in Melbourne in February 2017.
Melbourne will host this event for the entirety of the 2020 Olympic cycle for both Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. The competition features athletes from countries all over the world competing across two days of Qualifications on Thursday 2o and Friday 21 February, with the top eight athletes on each apparatus advancing to the Finals, to be held on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, 2020.

Arrival: Please arrive early at Melbourne Arena and allow plenty of travel time. Guests will be subject to bag search, security wanding and a ticket check before entering the arena. This can take time. Limiting the amount of bags and items you bring can significantly reduce entry time, so please leave unnecessary items at home. We suggest guests arrive at least 45 minutes prior to their event start time to avoid disappointment.
Parking: Parking at Melbourne Park is limited and should be pre-booked
